Criminal Record Removal for Canadians

Pardons Canada is a national non-profit organization that assists Canadians in the process of criminal record removal. We are always happy to assist individuals with US entry waivers I-194, I-192 and I-212 as well.

We are a criminal record removal service and a resource to over 5,400 government and community agencies. We provide support and information by telephone, on our website and in person, making criminal pardons and US entry waivers easier to obtain.

We promote positive behaviour by giving hope. Many people have made regrettable mistakes that require them to go through the record suspension process. Those who are no longer involved in criminal activity have a real opportunity to make a fresh start and a positive change in their lives.

We can help remove the stigma and shame that comes with a criminal history. Helping our clients obtain criminal pardons allows them to live, work and travel with ease, and in turn makes them better parents, citizens and neighbours.

With the applicant’s permission, Pardons Canada takes the necessary steps and procedures for criminal record removal which includes helping you with your criminal pardon application or record suspension application while also helping with purges, photograph & fingerprint destruction and US entry waiver applications.

What you were charged with, when you went to court, what the court decided and your personal situation will determine our approach to your criminal record removal. With over 35 years of experience, we know just how to handle your file. We will gather all necessary documents and get written proof of your successful removal once obtained.

Our Trained Professionals and Counsellors

Our record removal counsellors are experts and are highly qualified to answer any and all questions. The conversation between you and your counsellor will be completely confidential and you have the option to remain completely anonymous during your call. We are available to speak to you at 1-877-929-6011 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. If there are particular documents you have, feel free to visit our all-day walk-in centre. Meeting with one of our trained professionals is free of charge.

Additional Support

Employment and Immigration Support Letters

Employment and immigration problems may be corrected with the help of support letters from Pardons Canada. In many cases, the criminal occurrence was an isolated incident or occurred during a difficult period in one’s life. A support letter has the benefit of demonstrating that you have changed and that your behaviour has improved.

Your Eligibility

Pardons Canada will determine whether or not you are eligible to have your record destroyed or sealed and the time frame in which this will be completed.

Referrals To Other Organizations

If applicable, our counsellors may refer you to other community and government help organizations. These can include women’s centers, ethnic associations and addiction rehabilitation clinics.

Is a Pardon / Record Suspension Right For Me?

A Pardon / Record Suspension allows people who were convicted of a criminal offence but have completed their sentence and demonstrated they are law-abiding citizens, to enjoy a life free from their past mistakes. Pardons / Record Suspensions are issued by the Federal Government of Canada. This means that any search of the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) will not show that you had a criminal record, or that you were issued a Pardon / Record Suspension.

Preparing to Apply for a Pardon

To prepare the Pardon / Record Suspension application, many documents must be collected. Acquiring the proper supporting documents takes time; therefore, it is a good idea to start preparing the application in advance of your eligibility date. In fact, most people cannot determine what their eligibility date is until after they have acquired RCMP reports and relevant court documents.

Our Record Suspension Services

We promote positive behaviour by giving hope. Many Canadians have made regrettable mistakes. Those who are no longer involved in criminal activity have an opportunity to make a fresh start and a positive change in their lives. By sealing or removing criminal records, we help individuals get their lives back on track.

We will track and collect all of the necessary documents to help you with your case. If you meet the pardon eligibility requirements, we will help you clear your criminal record. Proof of your criminal record removal will also be provided to you in an official written document.
