Every day we get calls from people who were turned back at the US border because of a past criminal record. Often they are embarassed, ashamed and frustrated by their experience at the US border.
Here is a letter we recently received from someone who felt many of these frustrations:
“I am also a big Nascar fan and to my disappointment, I was turned away at the US border. I was asked if I had a criminal record and honestly replied “yes”. After some detainment, I was asked to turn around and would be arrested if I tried to enter the US without a US Entry Waiver.”
