Pardons Canada

Thousands of people each month across the country get convicted of DUI or Impaired Driving.  Once convicted, it is a criminal offence and can be seen by employers and the Americans and anyone else who does a criminal record check.

Often, the criminal record will get in the way of employment and traveling and volunteering so its important to apply for a pardon or record suspension to get it removed.

Once the criminal record is removed by way of a pardon/record suspension it will no longer show up on a CPIC or criminal record check.

Here is a recent thank you email we received from a person we helped to obtain a pardon/record suspension in Ontario:

“I’d like to thank Pardons Canada for providing the valuable service of aiding me in receiving a Pardon. As an individual who made some mistakes in his youth, having a criminal record has been a continual source of anxiety and embarrassment to me in the years since. There wasn’t a day I regretted my mistakes as they weighed on my conscience and made me realize that my past mistakes could forever be a blight on my future.”

“As a responsible and law-abiding adult with a professional job, it is a huge relief to feel validated. The individual who made those long ago mistakes is not a reflection on the man and the father I have now become. I am so very appreciative that I no longer have to worry that my past will affect my future prospects. Thank you Pardons Canada, for helping me achieve this feeling of redemption.”

A recent article below entitled “593 impaired driving charges laid over holiday period” highlights the proliferation of this conviction:
