If you are not able to attend a digital fingerprinting agency (see the Fingerprint Locations document we sent you) or if your local police do not have digital fingerprinting capabilities, you must get ink fingerprints taken.
To do so, you must first contact Pardons Canada so we can send you a Certification Authorization form that you will need to bring to your local police when having your ink prints take.
Once you forward the ink prints and Certification Authorization to us, we will send them to an Accredited Fingerprinting Agency who will submit them electronically to the RCMP Identification Services on your behalf. Pardons Canada charges an additional $105 to cover this cost.
If you are able to have your fingerprints taken digitally, please remember to send us a copy of your receipt so we can effectively track your file.
Thanks.
