We help many people obtain a Canada Pardon for old criminal convictions and it is nice to receive so many thank you letters from those we have helped. It is often a huge relief for a person once they receive a Canada Pardon but it can also be a huge burden relief for the family members as well.
Its not often we receive letters from the spouse of someone who has obtained a Pardon, but here is a lovely letter from the wife of a man who we helped to get a pardon for a DUI (Driving While Impaired, Over .80 milligrams):
“I know its probably not customary to hear from the spouse of the “Pardoned” but I could not begin to tell you the appreciation I have for you and your team at Pardons Canada in the process of obtaining my husband’s freedom.”
“We have been married 38 years and I have seen but a few times such a sense of relief come over the face of the man I have known for so long, as I did the day he opened that envelope that congratulated him on his Pardon.”
“I think he has paid his debt many times over in his own way.”
“I hope and pray that God sees to it that you may continue on and help many more who need help removing an old criminal record in the future. I thank you again for giving us a second chance at a clean future, worry free. Forever in your debt.”
