We often receive calls from people who are depressed that their criminal record is getting in the way of finding a better job or impinging on their freedom to travel.
Many times, the criminal charges are old but are still haunting the individual in many psychological and emotional ways. This is unfortunate, because if they have been out of trouble for the required time, they are eligible for a Canada Pardon which will effectively remove the criminal charges from public record.
