Visitor: My ex wife had left me and brought our newborn to her home town and didn’t say anything to me about it until after it was done. So naturally my only option was to move to the middle of nowhere to be close to my daughter which led to a gambling addiction and I am most ashamed to say I spent money from my moms credit card to bank roll my addiction and she had me charged with Theft over 5000, however I suffer from severe ADD and that led to several Failure to Appears and each missed court appearance added on another bench warrant and of course finger printing. And to make it all worse they arrested me with personal amounts of narcotics. And that was all back in 2014.
And then my luck with the ladies struck again within the past 3 or so years my now ex and mother of my second daughter lied throughout a police statement accusing me of the same crime while the difference was I was with her and yes spent money from her account for poker but that was not abnormal. However, being the mother of my child and facing a federal charge for a false statement I ended up pleading down just to protect my youngest from the financial blowback.
Both times I got house arrest. And honestly moving to nowhere no matter how good the reasons were ruined what was prior to that productive, well employed and without a record. The debilitating depression and untreated ADD only compounded the original legal problems and due to the way the crown just throws as many charges at everyone just to see what sticks I’ve found myself stuck in a giant legal hole and combined with the mental health issues find they just help feed each other leaving me stuck at square 1 it seems forever.
