Visitor: I was charged with conditional discharge from May 26, 2019 to May 26, 2023 (including the one year probation). I need a file destruction for my record in the York regional police, including my fingerprints, DNA substances, and court information.

I want to be sure that my conditional discharge will be purged from York regional police records because I want to find a job in the health care field, so I need to pass the Police Vulnerable Sector Check. I want to travel to the US in the future without problems, too.

Pardons Canada: A conditional discharge is considered a non-conviction and requires a file destruction to remove your prints and police records. The vulnerable sector is a separate database and cannot be deleted until the file destruction is approved. Then you must ask the police to remove from vulnerable sector separately.
