Visitor: Beginning of 2019 I had final court date, which I was convicted of Driving under the influence (DUI) also known as Impaired driving. I was given one year probation of driving once released and a 1000$ fine which I have to pay by this January.

I also pled guilty to robbery and was sentenced, which I was released End of July 2019 and had 2 years probation as well, my probation ends August 24th. I however did turn myself in for this charge and another which I pled out to possession of controlled substance a year prior to my robbery conviction. As the robbery charges took longer in court.

I was going through a hard time in an abusive relationship, and was addicted to pain meds for many years. I have been sober for a couple years now, and work full time as a sales manager and not being able to travel into the US for work is limiting my capabilities as a Sales Manager. I am not looking for pardon to travel for fun to US but only for work… I do not know if there is a way to get a work pardon only.

Any information and help is greatly appreciated. If you require a letter from my business of some sort, they will be happy to provide one. Also would it benefit me to ask my probation officer for a letter?

Pardons Canada: One pardon will remove all of your offences but in order to be eligible for the pardon you will need to be out of trouble with the police for ten years from the end of your punishment of your last offence which was robbery which is an indictable offence.  An indictable offence is a more serious offence than a summary offence and thus carries a longer eligibility requirement.  To learn more about your eligibility please click on the following link: https://pardons.org/pardons/eligibility/
