Demystifying Eligibility Criteria for Record Suspension
There is a great article in today’s Toronto Star written by Roy McMurtry, former Attorney General of Ontario and Chief Justice of Ontario, regarding Pardons and how the Harper government has made the process more difficult.
At Pardons Canada, we continue to help hundreds of people each month to obtain a pardon/record suspension so that they can move forward in their lives and gain employment and travel without the burden of having a criminal record.
The process for obtaining a pardon/record suspension has become more complicated and the timelines for eligibility have gotten longer.
