Canadian Bestseller!

Visitor: I had been allowed to enter the us ever since i was charged on October 12, 1988 for theft under $5000.

About 3 years ago i was transporting a passenger who had been refused entry into Canada back to the US! After she had dealt with the agent she informed me he wanted to speak to me. He informed me that these are criminal charges & that if i tried to enter the us again i could be refused entry & charged!

To get this clarified, in the morning i crossed the border in niagara falls. at the border i informed the agent that i would like to speak with someone inside so I could have a better understanding of what i was told at the buffalo crossing! I was told there is nothing saying i couldn’t cross! he sent me upstairs & I spoke to an agent & explained the situation! he told me to have a seat.

Next thing I hear him yell to another agent four stalls over. The officer replied ya “he’s done” he called me back up & explained to me that I could not enter the country!

I explained I’ve been crossing the border for more than 30 years since with no problem & in fact i have been crossing into this country for more than 53 years & not 1 bit of trouble. At the border the officer said they must have changed the criminal code! Next thing i know i’m getting fingerprinted & having my photo taken!  When he was turning me back to return to Canada he said i could apply for a waiver & that i should have no problem getting it!
