Each week we receive thank you letters and emails from people we have helped to obtain a pardon or record suspension.
This is a huge relief for most people once they receive the pardon as it removes any barriers for employment. Since most employers are conducting criminal background checks before hiring, it has become more important than ever to have a clear criminal background.
So many people feel imprisoned, anxious, or depressed if they are carrying around the weight of having a criminal record as it prevents them from getting work, or better work or promotions. They are unable to go after their dreams even after they have paid their punishment and rehabilitated. Thankfully, once a pardon is granted they are free once again to pursue whatever employment opportunity they wish without the worry of being denied a job due to their criminal past.
Here is a recent email we received from a person we helped to remove a fraud conviction by way of a pardon and record suspension:
Good day. I am writing this email to say thank you for your assistance with my Pardon/Record Suspension being granted February 15, 2019. I feel that there has been a huge weight lifted from my future of being a more productive and law-abiding individual. In my later years in life I have matured and have become more aware of how important it is to live a law-abiding lifestyle. I have come to realize how important it is to live a life that we should be living and not a life of negative consequences.
I am grateful that I can now be considered for more senior positions in my employment. I am so happy that I do not have this record hindering any activity that I may want to pursue in my work and personal life. I will continue to be a positive role model for my family and also members in the community. Also, I can also now travel internationally for any personal or work related matters. Once again thank you for all your help and providing me with a more positive and free lifestyle that I may live in a more mature mindset.
