I want to send my sincere gratitude to Pardons Canada for their work in assisting me in the process of obtaining a record suspension for my impaired driving charge or DUI. I have been working very hard over the last number of years to change my life, and this was the final missing piece of the puzzle.
After struggling for a number of years with my own mental health issues, I decided to finally reach out and get the support I needed. Once I became stabilized and healthy I found a new passion, I wanted to give back and help others who have had similar struggles I had. After completing a number of University programs in the Mental Health and Addictions/Psychology field it completely transformed my life and goals. This new educational experience kick started me into a new career, I finally had found my passion and purpose in life. Unfortunately due to this record it made it very difficult for me to work in the health sector. I am thrilled and extremely grateful to have been given this opportunity for a fresh start and to no longer have any barriers holding me back from sharing my experience and helping others to regain their life. I will most defiantly be referring anyone I know who struggles with the same barriers I did to Pardons Canada in the hopes that they will be given the same amazing opportunity and gift that I have just received. Again, thank you for giving me this opportunity and chance, I am excited to contribute positively to society and especially to those in need.
No that I have my pardon for the DUI offence, it no longer shows up on a criminal background check and I can get any job I want.
