Each day we receive thank you letters from people across the country who we have helped to remove an old criminal record.
The relief people feel once the criminal record is removed by way of a Pardon or Record Suspension is incredible. Now they are free to travel to the US without worry of being denied entry.
The Americans continue to turn away Canadians at the border each day if they have a criminal record. Once you have been denied entry to the US, you need a US Entry Waiver (I-192 or I-194) to return to the US. A Waiver can be expensive and take time to obtain and its a complicated process. If you have never been denied entry to the US, you do not need a US Waiver, just a Pardon.
