Among the most common criminal records in Canada is a DUI which is also known as DWI (driving while ability impaired), failing to provide a breath sample, Over .08 milligrams and care and control.  There are over 80,000 convictions across Canada each year in this category.

Many people are unaware that having a criminal record can seriously affect employment opportunities as most employers do criminal background checks when hiring or promoting employees.  Also, the US border patrol can refuse you entry if you have a criminal record.
